My colt Vertigo finally broke his maiden after 10 races whoohoo!!!  ;D

Now I know most of you are probably thinking what’s the big deal? There are a lot of two year olds who go 10 races without a win but Vertigo was 9-0-5-3. I kept waiting for that win and every time he would come in second I started thinking well maybe he just wasn’t meant to ever stand in the winners circle lol But he finally brought it home today!! Even if he was running against mostly fillies I’m still proud of my big boy yay!!

Congrats!  Hopefully now he knows his “real” job (running to win, rather than just running aimlessly :wink:)

SOOOOO happy for you!!! :smiley: I definitely know how you feel–I started to doubt MusicboxDancer’s abilities as a racer, so it was a HUGE thing for me when she FINALLY won a race!

lol yes I think he was confused about the whole getting over the wire first thingy or maybe he was camera shy and didn’t want his picture taken in the WC. Hopefully he realizes how much more awesome it is to finish first though and he’ll keep kickin booty hehe
