Sorry for her loss. Her legacy will certainly live on through her foals, especially her stud-qualified son! We own Heartless’ daughter, Restless Soul, who just had her first foal this year. Hopefully she’s a fantastic producer like her mom.

Unfortunately, we lost
What A Folklore today, After finding her down in her stall with the back legs hanging out, we knew right away we needed the the vet and put in an emergency call. When the vet arrived it was apparent to save the foal he would have to perform a c-section. Thus losing Folklore.
Folklore was a winner & multi-placed, however she shown in the breeding shed. Dam to SW MSP Ch Celtic Lore & MW Duskwood, Killing Heidi, Warlord, Cryptic Folklore
Desert Wind owns her last 4 foals and hope they can continue her legacy.

Unfortunately we lost
Ch. Nuit Noir. She gave no indication there was a problem after foaling. We came into the barn and founf her dead in the stall with her last filly standing beside her. The vet said she had a sudden heart attack, with no warning.
Ch. Nuit Noir was very Successful as a Turf Specialist. She was a Multi Stakes Winner, Multi Stakes Placed and a Millionaire. Winning the G2 Palos Verdes Handicap and Epsom Derby Stakes, as a 3yo.
In the breeding shed she has excelled as well. Dam of MSW SP Ch. Night Owl Special, SW MSP Ch. Reine de la Nuit and MW Good Night, Sunrise and Sunset, The End of Days. W Digital Carden, Brief Ember, Dawn of Time.
We at Desert Wind have her last 2 fillies Film Noir & Vigilant Heart. We hope they will continue her legacy.

So sorry for your loss. We own her daughter, Night Owl Special, and her current 2yo recently won. We used to own Reine de la Nuit but kept 3 of her sons, including a SP 3yo. She turned out to be a lovely producer of producers. Glad you have two fillies to carry on her line for you.
