The name is most likely temporary in reaction to the abnormal spate of colts we’ve been having, but it was inspired by a way of learning languages (e.g. All Japanese All the Time).
Firmament is healthy. She’ll be shipped to Australia for a breeding with Strike It Rich.

So happy that this foal arrived safely. Italy was an EXPENSIVE purchase. She’s 1/2 to MSW Touch ‘n’ Go and Devil May Care. Her 3yo has won her only start (under FF management to boot). The death of Lucretia supposedly helped lead to the overthrow of Tarquinn Superbus and the start of the Roman Republic. A depressing story, though.
Cute! I like the name Buckets of Rain better.
I also think Buckets of Rain is the way to go

After losing her Bold Ruler foal two years ago, we are super excited to have the chance to breed her to the only other Bold Ruler son standing at stud (and the only one who is not her 1/2 brother)–ICh. Long Live the King. This was the reason we wanted King studified so badly.
