Not necessarily. FF horses do tend to be on the tall side, but foal height does not necessarily indicate adult height, as foals can be born at a range of sizes (percentages of adult height). So just because babies are born big doesn’t mean they’ll end up big (or vice-verse).

I thought about it after I said it. Lol. I feel for the mares this year though, considering all the 9+ babies and a lot 10+ , lol.
I did notice after you said that, some born that big have predicted heights at/or under 16h.

A BLUE ROAN Nightfight filly! Woo! I was super excited to see he got a filly with some color. Not that I’m opposed to the black ones, they are gorgous, but I just love blue roans. First foal of this 2yo G1 winning mare. We are hoping an early maturing mare will make a young monster with this pair.

Nightfight has been making some mosters with Cigar lines which is why we wanted to see what he would throw with this Lucky Cigar mare. She lost her two previous foals, both Nightfights, but the third one turned out perfect. It was his “Lucky Night”.

Not thought went into this breeding, though I do like the lines. Scarelt is still just a maiden mare so it will be fun to see how he turns out.
So I ended up with 62 healthy foals this year. 28 Fillys and 34 Colts. We lost 3 foals, a mare died, and 4 mares retired.
Like I said, a very eventful year and we took a huge blow by losing double platinum bred Gazelle’s foal by Spock, but we bred her back to Nightfight for a QUADRUPLE platinum hit. Fingers crossed for a heathly foal next year.
Congrats you have some gorgeous babies! I’m still waiting on all 3 of my NF babies along with 14 others! Need to start dosing them with castor oil! Lol

Born December 16th we have [color=red]Classic Boo Boo, (NCh. I’m A Classic X Nanana Nah Boo Boo), a 8H bay filly.
We are disappointed that it had to be our I’m A Classic foal since he has been retired but I guess we’ll just have to plan her career a little differently…
I have one mare due 31st December, I hope that she will keep her foal one day longer congrats anyway!
