AIM Names

Hi everyone!

I noticed we’re getting quite a few new players. In keeping with our whole Final Furlong community idea, I thought I’d try and get everyone to post the AIM nicks so that we can update our buddy lists. Also I figure that if new players feel like more of a community, they’ll stick around longer! ;D Which is generally a good thing provided they aren’t crazy… ::)

Anyways, my nick is CentralLodge (harping back to the good ol’ days :wink:).

Hope to chat to some newer/different stables some time soon!

I try not to have it open if I’m not around…if I don’t reply, it’s probably either because I’m at work or playing DDO. :wink:

I don’t have AIM either, but my email is rockysdollarbill@hotmail.com for MSN! I’m usually on alot at night, and I’m set to away quite often, but you can go ahead and talk to me anyways, I’ll probably be there.

AIM is easy to get guys and lots of Final Furlong members seem to have it being an American based game. Y’all just need to go to www.aim.com and register and away you go. :slight_smile:

I’m actually using GAIM.  I’m not sure how to describe it, but it’s kind of like a different program that can connect you to AIM/msn/zephyr/yahoo (I think).  You can be connected as online to multiple different clients.  Plus, because it’s a non-comercial client, you don’t get the ads that you do on AIM.  You do have to sign up for an account at msn/AOL/yahoo/etc.  it just acts as an alternative client that you can use.  Perhaps not as many bells and whistles, but who really needs them?

I’ve been using it for several years and absolutely love it.  I know it runs on Linux and Windows.  Spread the GAIM love.

Trillian

This program rocks. It has MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ and IRC.

Its what I always use, then I can talk to everyone, no matter what program they use!

Rhi is right about Trillian it’s a nice program. You do need the clients set up on your machine like in Cats program though.

I don’t have AIM or Yahoo on my PC, but Trillian still works. I just deleted them after i got my usernames. LoL

I prefer Trillian, but Gaim seemed unstable on my machine, so I’m a bit biased against it.

Of course, none of them hold a candle to the wonder that is Adium

I use Trillian myself.  I love the program.  I am thinking of upgrading to pro, but don’t know if I want to spend the money.  Anyway, my IM names are as follows.

Yahoo: e_kazee
msn: ekazee@hotmail.com

I’m usually around, and am always willing to talk.  I may not be the most exciting person, but I’m always open to an ear or whatever else is needed.
