9/3

Not a bad week for the Hill.

Ask Directions (Dark Continent) was 2nd in her NW2
Reprise (High Chances) was 3rd in her NW3 against the boys.
Forgotten Road won her allowance; it’s good to see she’s not completely over the hill yet.
Highlight of the day was Soupy’s win in the Gr. 1 Gazelle Stakes
Toast of the Town was a disappointing 5th in the Garden City Breeder’s cup
Initforthelonghaul (Ring of Fire) held her own against the boys and came in 2nd in the Gr. 3 Black Opal Stakes.  Amazonian Spirit was 6th.

Not too bad overall!

2yo
A.P. Goodyear (A.P. Indy) finished 3rd/7 in her NW3.
Daytona Weekend (A.P. Indy) finished 3rd/6 in her OA.
Crack the Bell (Dark Continent) finished a disappointing 10th/11 in the G3 Black Opal. We’ve sent her home for some well-deserved rest!

Black Clouds finished 10th/13 in her OA and has been retired. She’ll be bred next year.
Painted Sunset won her NW2 against 5 others.
Hollywood Groove ran 3rd/6 in his NW3.
Moonstorm ran 5th/6 in his NW3.
