[color=red]Hot Nurse showed her old form and finished 4th/10 in a tough G1 Ranvet Stakes.
[color=red]Bay of Biscay was back to winning form with a fantastic run over a top field in the Ruffian Stakes (Gr.1). She’s been shipped back home for a short rest now. This was her 10th stakes win this year and her 8th grade one win. [color=red]In The Library had a shocker in the Belmont Breeders’ Cup (Gr.2). She finished last. She’s been sent back home for a while. [color=red]Ilsaheri had a fantastic run to finish first in the Coolmore Classic (Gr.1). She’s home for a short rest too. This was her 8th stakes win this year and her 4th grade one. [color=red]Path Finder had a nice run to finish second in the Coolmore Classic (Gr.1). She’s only 1 point off being a NCh. now. I’ve sent her home for a break too. [color=blue]I’m No Fool came back from his disappointing last start to win the Ranvet Stakes (Gr.1). He’s headed home for a short break before his next start. This was his 12th stakes win this year (equalling last year) and his 10th grade one for the year (15th overall). He’s only 80 points off become only the 6th FFCh. I’m super happy with him!
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Bunch of 2nds this week. =)
Pointed Question was 2nd in his NW3
It’s a Girl, the horse I least expected a win out of this week, brought home the sole win of the week in her NW3.
Ask Directions was a solid 3rd against a full field in her NW2.
Soupy ran 3rd in the Ruffian Stakes. Forgotten Road was 6th.
Canaryinacoalmine (High Chances) was 2nd in the Gr. 2 Jerome Stakes.
Toast of the Town was 2nd in the Belmont Breeder’s Cup against the boys.
Odysseus was 2nd in the Gr. 3 Newcastle Newmarket Handicap.
Well sent out 11 horses today 3 came back with no money at all, and a mare that has been doing pretty good in stakes races decided to donate her entrance fee and jog along at the back.

Only one out (trying to sort out how to manage my herd and school).
[color=blue]Uncle Pennybags took a perfectly nice 3rd out of 12 in the Grade 2 Jerome Stakes, running cold after a week of neglect and no works from his terrible, distracted owner. Pleased as I am with him, I’m really hopeful that he can start getting some wins under his belt in the near future and have a go at finishing his stud requirements. He’s only 3, so here’s hoping I have some time yet to get him winning.
[color=green]Rock Runner (Beau) came out of the gate in 11th place and pretty much stayed there the entire time. I’m thinking the length and the fact that he was racing against horses almost a third his age had something to do with it. We’re going to let him run until he tells us he’s done though. I don’t have the heart to retire him yet, but I know the day is approaching…
[color=green]Hakuna Matata (Pumbaa) broke out in 3rd and fairly quickly moved into the 4th position in his allowance, where he finished. We can’t complain, he brought home the bacon.
A few weeks ago we buckled down and started a new training regimen with our horses and it seems to be paying off much to my relief! The ponies were making me crazy. >:D
DontCallMeSue has shown much more focus in his races since we gelded him. Today he finally put it all together and won the G2 Jerome Handicap. He’s headed home to the farm for a two week rest then we’ll have to decide what to do with him next.
