More bombs than anything but some showed up! Lots of 2yo’s sent home to veg and get fat until January.
[color=red]Daytona Weekend ran 1st/7 in her OA.
[color=blue]Massacre was 2nd/6 in his NW3. He had never gone over 11f so finishing 2nd at 15f is very nice!
[color=blue]Field of Diamonds was 3rd/6 in his NW3. I appreciate how consistent he is, but he’s always 2nd or 3rd! Bugger is still a maiden.
[color=blue]Rocket Smoke was 3rd/10 in an OA.
Three 2yo colts ran, but probably they shouldn’t have only one is worth mentioning - [color=blue]Sugarbird finished 2nd/12 in NW1 allowance. This is his best result so far.
Finally had a decent day, sent out 14 and only 3 out of the money.

Really, really nice day in a string of four now. Didn’t get a chance to post Wednesday, but we had 11 out and 10 in the money. Today’s record was super pleasing, though the good luck’s got to run out at some point. Seven out today and seven in the money.
[color=red]Frontier Days, claimed back in January, finally posted her first win in a NW1 for 3yo+F. Seems she liked the distance and equipment change. 1st/6
[color=blue]Pay the Boatman finally showed up, wiring a longer NW3 for 2yo’s. Hopefully he’s inherited some of daddy’s talent. 1st/14
[color=blue]King’s Cross took ten races to do it, but found the winner’s circle at last, leading a field of 6 in a NW3 for 3yo - start to finish. 1st/6
[color=blue]Raise a Light is living up to his beautiful breeding, and though he’s small, he won an Allowance for 2yo in impressive fashion. 1st/7
[color=red]Copano Bay had a small field to run against, but she relished an equipment change and brought home a win. 1st/3
[color=red]Taking Vegas may have come back a little fast from her last race, but she just missed winning by a nose. 2nd/7
[color=blue]Homesteader is slowly making his presence known. Trying some different equipment next time out. 5th/12
2YO homebred [color=red]Holy Smokes (x Holy Bull) broke her maiden in her second attempt, after a switch to dirt and mixed company.
2YO homebred [color=red]Queen Catarina (x King David) won her open allowance. In 6 starts, she has won 5 times. I really want to get this girl into a stakes race soon…
2YO [color=red]Montalvo (x Point Given) ran 2nd in her NW2. Still trying to figure out how to get this girl to be consistant, but she’s been 50% win/place, so I can’t complain too much.
I’m so, so glad to have my 2YOs do well this year - traditionally mine all flop until well into their 3YO year.
