There were a total of 5 that didn’t bring home anything,All but one were babies. :frowning:

We were looking forward to the first leg of the 2yo triple today.  CDS babies ended up doing pretty good.

Nightfight colts Batista and Nightwatchman went 1st and 2nd in the Hopeful Stakes.

Irish Star (Irish River) and Deep Of The Night (Nightfight) went 2nd and 3rd in the Spinaway Stakes.  Cool!

So our good days ran dry, but 3 did managed to score a check.

2yo’s
[color=red]Temple Maid (Worth My While) ran 2nd/8 in a NW2.
[color=blue]Candied Roses (What’s Your Point) ran 3rd/8 in his NW2.

[color=blue]Glory of Love finished 3rd/6 in his OA.

Had a great day today with a few wins:

WINS
[color=red]She’s No Bull (Holy Bull) brought her A-game and scored a victory in the first race of the 2yo filly Tiara in the 7f Gr. 1 Spinaway Stakes. Looks like I just had to switch her from turf to dirt like her 1/2 sibling Von Lich
[color=red]Heavenside Halo (Nightfight) earned her first win in a 6f dirt NW1 allowance for 2yo F
[color=blue]Scotch Thistle (Highland Laird) scored his second win in a 6f 2yo turf NW3 allowance

SHOWS
[color=blue]MacTalla Mo’R (Gimme A Shot) finished third in his first SC race in a 14f allowance for 4yo+

Also had a couple of non-placers, but my 2yo’s were the strongest this week

Nice day with only three runners.

[color=red]Redheaded Princess won her NW2. I was quite surprised as she only had D for fitness.

[color=blue]Crystal Wizard was 2nd in his OA.

[color=blue]Baringa ran 2nd in the Secret of Love Stakes and earned his Grand Champion title  He’s the first GB trained pony to make GCh status, after joining us as a yearling for $1000. Very proud of him today.

Sent 3 out, and all did well:

2YO homebred [color=blue]Mood Indigo (All Jazzed Up) ran 2nd in his maiden.  It was his second start, and second place.  Glad to see him consistant!

3YO homebred [color=blue]Imprimis (King David) won his NW2 SC with an impressive speed factor of 220.  :astonished:  This is his second win, and second win in a row.  I think he’s finally got it.

And our proudest moment: 4YO homebred (our first ever filly!) [color=red]Oh So Proud (Highland Pride) won the G2 Palomar Handicap, bumping her up to a MSW and to champion status (our first titled homebred running under our silks!)  This also served to bump her dam (whom we still own), Oh So Sharp, into a gold-ranking…and it’s never a bad thing to have a gold broodmare in your ranks.  Of course I had already gone & sold the 2YO and the 3YO  ::), but we’ve retained the rest, thank goodness.

Congrats! It’s great to finally have a titled runner that you bred. I’ve got a couple of those now too as of this past month!

Three fillies ran, all in stakes, but they’re not quite at this level yet.

[color=red]Jorghinia finished 4th/14 in Arlington Sprint. She’s a good sprinter.
[color=red]Ch. Shadow In The Dark finished 4th/10 in Gr. 2  Del Mar Derby, and she will switch to steeplechase next time.
2yo [color=red]Hadriana finished 5th/10 in Gr. 1 Spinaway Stakes, and she remains unplaced. I entered her just because she was nominated (fortunately, this is her only nomination).
