7/25

Sent out 12 runners, had 4 wins, 3 seconds, 1 third, 1 fourth and 3 out of the first four.

Winners
[color=blue]Londesborough Boy (3yo, Lasting Spirit) in an OA at Calder. His third win in his last five starts.
[color=red]White Sand Beach (3yo, Almost Home) in the Ung Round Table Stakes at Arlington. Her 3rd win in her last five races.
[color=red]Boundless Train (3yo, Strike It Rich) in the G3 Lexington Stakes at Belmont. After a slow start to this year, she has greatly improved with two wins and two seconds in her last four starts.
[color=red]Leoness (4yo, Alley Cat) in the G1 Eddie Read Handicap at Del Mar. Her 2nd win in her last four starts. This was the 21st G1W for our stable this year.

Seconds
[color=red]Knight’s Match (2yo, Chivalry) in an NW2 at Woodbine. Her best performance to date.
[color=blue]Ch. Casting Couch (3yo, TakeMeToHollywood) in an OA at Calder, won by stable companion [color=blue]Londesborough Boy.
[color=blue]No Guts No Glory (3yo, Magic Glory) in the G3 Lexington Stakes at Belmont, won by stable companion [color=red]Boundless Train.

Third
[color=red]Back St. Flight (2yo, Major’s Flight) in an NW3 at Saratoga.

Fourth
[color=blue]Keyboard (3yo, War Chant) 4/11 in the G3 Tokyo City Cup in Australia.

Others
[color=red]Harvard Speaker (2yo, Harvard Bound) 5/14 in an NW2 at Saratoga.
[color=blue]GCh. Paranoia (6yo, Conspiracy Theory) 13/13 in an OA at Arlington. He continues to be disappointing.
[color=red]Ch. Last Nights Jitter (4yo, Major’s Flight) 6/10 in the G2 Bowling Green Handicap at Belmont.

I sent out two, both in the same race. [color=blue]Lord Chancellor won and [color=red]Zooming Spirit was fourth. That is my second win.  :slight_smile:

My biggest day in awhile, sent 17 runners out, 11 were 4th or better.

Wins
[color=red]Uncanny Yodel (4yo, Highland Bandit) in a SC allowance. We tried blinkers on her, she approved

[color=red]The Duchess (3yo, Sneak Peek) in a NW2 SC allowance. She hasn’t been running the greatest, tried her on longer distance and happy to see she’s found her run!

[color=red]Marquesa (4yo, High On Love) in a NW1 allowance, she finally broke her maiden! Shes very lightly raced but i’m happy to see her start running more consistently

Places
[color=blue]Fruitloop (4yo, Easy Goer) in a SC allowance. He likes a slightly longer track

[color=blue]Political Risk (2yo, Giant’s Causeway) in a maiden, this was his first ever start so i’m definitely happy with his finish.

[color=red]Eloquently (3yo, Strider) in a turf allowance. She’s consistent! She is only 1 point away from her champion title

[color=red]Anglesite (3yo, I’m Your Angel) in the GI Yorkshire Oaks stakes. I’m so pleased with how she has been running, especially since this race was a longer distance then she typically likes. She is only 20 points away from her GCh. title

Shows
[color=blue]Blues Brother (2yo, Create) in a NWturf allowance. His second start of the season

[color=blue]Olivine (3yo, As You Wish) in a dirt allowance. He has been consistent lately, I may have found his prefered combo

[color=blue]Lumberjack (4yo, I’m Your Angel) in the Lexington Stakes. It was a longer distance then he would prefer, he tends to be more of a sprinter but i’ll take a 3rd :wink:

Congrats!  :smiley:

I had a really nice day today.

[color=blue]Alfresco, the best boy of the barn, ran in a 5.5f NW3 Allowance for 2yo and placed 1st/6! This makes him an OA only runner at only 6 starts. What a guy!

I accidentally bought [color=red]Champagne On Ice  from the mixed auction, and was kind of disappointed when I found out she was in Australia and I was going to have to lay down $26k to send her home. I decided to enter her in a couple of races before shipping her to the States to see if she could earn me any money towards her flight. I entered her in a 11.5f NW3 Allowance for 4yo+ and she placed 1st/6! In the words of Bob Ross, this one is a happy accident.

[color=green]Surak ran in a 8.5f Allowance for 3yo+ and placed 5th/13. Bleh.

[color=blue]Noble 6 ran in a 6.0f Maiden for 2yo, placing 14/14. I’m done racing him for the year until he gains a few more inches.

Lastly, I took home [color=red]Wanderlust from 6.0f Claiming ($25,000) for 3yo+. I am glad to have her in the family! There were many fine horses in this race and it was hard to choose which one to claim. She placed 3rd/13, not bad at all.

Congratulations!

Today was a little bit magic! Seven went out, and seven came home with money. So far this year 1 out of every 3 entries for Mayfair has been a win. 8)

[color=blue]Calumar finished fourth in his first race ever. It’s better than dead last, at least!

Baby [color=blue]Thirteen Colonies managed a second, while fellow 2yo [color=red]Gotta Dance won her second race overall.

[color=blue]Donmar was second in his Allowance, while Eastover Court won the same race and is now officially [color=blue]Ch. Eastover Court! He is the fifth Mayfair horse this year to graduate to Champion status.

Stallions [color=blue]Wind It Up and [color=blue]Coming Up Roses were third and first in their Allowance race, respectively. [color=blue]Roses, who I’d thought was done after his slow finishes at the end of last year, busted down the gate with a Speed Record and an SF of 291. :astonished:  Say what? Retirement will have to wait until after a Stakes race (or two)!

Only one win, but all 8 entries came home with money, so pretty good. :slight_smile:

Win:
[color=blue]Jacksonian (Dark Continent) in a NW2. Maybe he’s finally finished obsessing with second place?

Places:
[color=blue]Blood Magic (2yo, Candidate) in a NW1.

[color=red]Hemisphere (2yo, Octagonal) in a NW3.

[color=red]Fire Magic (2yo, Highland Magic) in her debut in a maiden.

[color=red]Airgead Dra

Two 2yo maidens in Arlington. They still remain maidens.

[color=blue]Im Your Daddy (by ICh. Take Me Away (B)) finished 5th/14.
[color=red]Gentle Charlotte (by ICh. Stressed (B)) finished 4th/14.

Sent out 8 and 6 bought home some money.

[color=red]Peep Show won her OA and earned her champion status  :slight_smile:

[color=red]User Friendly won her OA over fences :slight_smile:

[color=red]Sleep Easy made her first start in three months and won her NW3 :slight_smile:

[color=red]Redheaded Princess was 2nd in her NW2.

[color=blue]Caledonian finished 5th in his stakes race, looks like studification is out of reach and retirement beckons.

[color=red]Rebel Yell was 5th in her OA.
