I sent out 18, but one of our winners got claimed. Good luck with our homebred, Mood Indigo, Easter Valley! I’m sure you’ll find that he prefers finishing in the top two.
WINS
Mood Indigo (3yo, All Jazzed Up), who got claimed. 1/2 to MSW filly, Ch. With A Fleurish, whom we own.
[color=red]Worth A Treasure (3yo, Worth My While) won her NW2. She is consistently in the top three, but we are trying to teach her how much better it is to win.
[color=blue]Zadar (3yo, What’s Your Point) won his NW3, earning a speed record in the process. This is his second win in a row.
[color=blue]Star of Lakshmi (3yo, Octogonal) won his OA. It’s his third win in a row, so he may be one to watch.
[color=red]Sweet Home Alabama (3yo, I’m A Classic) won her first stakes race, the ungraded Hallandale Beach Stakes against mixed company. She is one of my sentimental favorites, so I’m happy to see her succeed.
[color=red]Montalvo (3yo, Point Given) also won her first stakes, the G2 Queenston Stakes. She’s undefeated so far this year.
PLACES
[color=red]Xcientist (3yo, Crystal Rainbow) was 2nd in her maiden. Place-itis?
[color=red]Hawaiian Ice (5yo, Bold Ruler) was 2nd in the G3 Skip Away Handicap, making her officially stakes placed. I would love to get her a title before retirement, and this definitely did not hurt.
[color=red]Ch. Nicole’s Majic (3yo, A.P. Indy) was 2nd in the G2 Louisville Breeders’ Cup in mixed company.
SHOWS
[color=blue]Pistolwhip (2yo, Gunningdownromance) placed 3rd in his debut, a NW3. He’s half to our 3yo SW Ch. Singsong.
[color=red]Newyorknewyork (2yo, Stressed) was 3rd in her debut, a maiden.
OFF THE BOARD
Ch. Oh So Proud (5yo, Highland Pride) was 5th in the G3 Crown Royal American Turf, which was also her first time in mixed company this year.
Grand Love (2yo, High On Love) was 6th in his debut.
V Is For Valiant (2yo, V is for Victory) was 6th in his debut.
Mostro (2yo, Spock) was 8th in his debut.
Ponte Vecchio (2yo, Unabridged) was 11th in his debut.
Mango Frappe (5yo, Sunday Silence) was 11th in her OA. I’m highly considering retiring her this year (I was going to wait 'til next year), because the best she’s managed this year was a 4th.
