[color=red]Belle of Portugal finished 2nd/9 in her NW2 allowance for fillies. Her second race this year, with better speed figure than the last one which was a win.

[color=blue]Ch. Al Mundhir was 4th/14 in his open allowance.

Ok day, sent 3 out and came home with 4!

[color=red]Auroring Star (3yo, The Fighting Fifty) won her NW1, her second win in a row! Hopefully she keeps it up

[color=red]Anglesite (4yo, I’m Your Angel) ran 4th in the Canadian Turf Handicap, she needs some time off now :slight_smile:

[color=red]Super Spectacular (5yo, Spectacular Bid) ran 4th in a $5000 claimer and came home with me :slight_smile:. Picked her up as a potential brood, I like her lines and don’t have really any Spectacular in my breeding shed. She needs to race more before she can retire to brood though

Three out today and have nothing notable to write home about, just a lot of tough decisions to make. Already made one - after much deliberation (all 10 seconds of it), we decided to retire [color=red]Stand Back after she finished off the board and out of the money again in a NW3 SC allowance and send her to Eighteen Karat, which was the original plan when we first claimed her last year. I’d hate to do the same to [color=red]Farewell to Arms since she’s just four, so we’ll tinker with surfaces a bit.

Only had 3 out today for my first race as a member! Pretty excited though!

[color=blue]Jazz Funeral (created) came in 2nd in his first race!

[color=green]Evil Rumors ran in 6.5f Claiming ($5,000) for 4yo+ (D) and placed 1st/6. I find it kind of hilarious how much this guy enjoys claimers. And nobody wants him, so he can keep running in them all he wants!

[color=green]Ch. Flight Line ran in 9.0f Claiming ($20,000) for 3yo+ (SC) and placed 2nd/7. He enjoyed the claimer as well, and of course nobody wants my old geldings.

[color=blue]Ch. Alfresco ran in 6.5f Allowance for 3yo (T) and placed 3rd/10. He needed a break from stakes competition and stress.

[color=red]Ch. Cathedral ran in 10.5f Allowance for 4yo+ (T) and placed 9th/14. This old lady may be finally feeling her age.

With most of the team resting up, it’s still been an odd day.  One of our boys got claimed, but we brought a new gal home to fill his stall.  ::)

[color=blue]Dawson’s Rudge (4yo, A.P. Indy) won his claimer, and got claimed.  He’s been in the top three 9 of 11 lifetime starts, so I fully expect him to keep doing well with Kris White Racing.  Wishing you guys the best of luck!

[color=red]Strikeuptheband (3yo, Smart Strike) won her NW2 - her first ever start.  Not a bad way to begin!

[color=red]Talkofthetown (3yo, Rumor Has It) won her NW2, also earning a speed record for 9f turf.  Atta girl!  She’s 1/2 to our GCh. MSW Afterglow, and from our late gold-rated mare, CrossTheThreshold, so I’m pleased to see her finally stepping up.

PLACES

We claimed [color=red]Time For Belles (5yo, Slew O’Scots) for a mere $5k.  She’s half to our stallion, Witness, and Slew O’Scots is no slouch as a sire, so I’m excited to play around with this gal for a bit before retirement.  This was only her second lifetime race, so she needs to finish out the year anyway.
