Not a terribly exciting day with just two out, but they both brought home checks.
[color=blue]Field of Diamonds (Ring of Fire) ran 3rd/6 in his NW2 after a layoff.
[color=green]Celebroch (Akhetnaten) managed a 4th/8 in his SA.

Another great day for us, sent 5 out, 4 on the board!
[color=red]Al Summan (3yo, Seattle Sorcerer) won her NW3 allowance, her second win in a row! Time to look for stakes for her
[color=blue]Null and Void (3yo, Void) FINALLY broke his maiden! His first time on the board and it was a win, yay! Hopefully he keeps it up
[color=blue]Starting Point (4yo, Whats Your Point) was the highlight winning the Crystal Water Handicap. We tried a shorter distance and different equipment, this was his first stakes win
[color=red]Desert Mirage (3yo, Point Given) ran 2nd in a $15,000 claimer. Why is it whenever I put a runner in a claimer they start running well? hah
[color=blue]Sunday Paper ran 6th in a stakes
Came home with another colt.
[color=blue]Beautiful Romance - 3rd/7 in his NW1. I think that he’s slowly improving. He is consigned to Clicker Lab Auction, and the reserve for him is $10,000.
And I claimed 3yo colt [color=blue]Montecristo. He was 3rd/6 in the claimer; not very exciting… but he’s out of Gold ranked Ch. Cigar’s Promise, and has a really nice pedigree. So I hope that he’ll improve too…
Nice day today.
[color=red]Faraday was second in her allowance. It seems an equipment change helped a lot.
[color=blue]Fighting the Blues won his allowance. I think he’ll go in a lower-level stakes next.
Sent out 6, came back with 7
2 Wins
[color=red]Ch. Last Nights Jitter, (5yo, Major’s Flight x Las Vegas Jitters) 1/10 in the G2 Pan American Handicap at Gulfstream. She will have one more race in the US before heading to England for their top SC races.
[color=red]Ch. Flight of Silk, (3yo, Major’s Flight x Flaming Silk) 1/10 in the G2 Outback Lady Stakes in Australia. Earned her “Ch” status with this win.
1 Second
[color=blue]Ch. Casting Couch, (4yo, TakeMeToHollywood x Back Streets) 2/10 in the G1 Victoria Racing Club Stakes in Australia.
1 Third
[color=red]Ch. Mirror Twin, (3yo, Harvard Bound x Backwards Image) 3/10 in the Ung Crystal Water Handicap at Santa Anita. She will be sent home for a rest then over to England for their Classics.
1 Fourth
[color=blue]DoubleOrNothing, (6yo, A.P. Indy x By Honor Bound) 4/6 in an OA in Australia. For Sale.
Also Ran
[color=red]Ancient Fire, (3yo, Turn n’Burn x Ancient Honour) 6/7 in an NW1 at Aqueduct. For Sale.
Claimed
[color=blue]Dealing Rumors, (3yo, Rumor Has It x Deal With It), who finished 2/6 in a Claiming Race at Santa Anita.
I’ve never been quite so angry with the results, ha ha.
Homebred [color=red]Rahy On The Rocks ran second in a 7.5f turf NW1 for 3YO+. She’s been off the board just once so far but she can’t seem to win. I changed her equipment a bit for this race and I hope it gives her that push she needs in her next one.
[color=red]Pink Slew and [color=red]U.R. A Shinin Star both finished 10th in their respective races. I don’t know how Slew bombed the hell out of her race; her inconsistency is rather frustrating.
Today we claimed [color=red]Successful Sister, a 6YO mare with a nice solid pedigree for our broodmare band. I’ve got to stop claiming broodie prospects and start looking for racing ones, lol
