I’ve been looking at the Jockey states for my horses. I’ve not worked through all my horses yet but all the 2yo seem to be working out with random jockeys rather than any of the I’ve saved for them in their racing settings. For example, Alice Bodine has race stats for Melody Fink (her 1st choice in racing settings), Douglas Packard and Jeff Heywood. The two gents are not in her racing settings. She’s only had one race so I’m assuming this is from workouts rather than actual racing.
Desert Shadows has race stats for 7 jockeys (also only raced once). I’m not 100% sure but it seems to be 2yo that have been at the track for some time. Ones that have shipped fairly recently only seem to have stats for their first choice jockey.
If you look at AM’s workouts, she’s only worked with Melody aside from her first 2 workouts. (Which I think was before I fixed the issue where it wasn’t loading up the preferred jocks for automatic workouts.) Hence she has experience with those 3 jockeys.
Both workouts + races give experience and affect happiness (experience always goes up, happiness can go up or down - I think only in races, workouts should always be positive).
This isn’t a 2yr old but I’ve randomly noticed this with a few horses. Auspicious Jumper has a 1st choice jockey of Frank Hazard but all his workout since 10-3 have been with Eric Barkett who is 2nd choice?
