2/9

Yay, back to a good race day for our ponies. Great day, even. :slight_smile:

WINS:
[color=red]Brighid (4yo, Highland Laird) in a NW3. Might try a stakes race next time.

[color=red]Hemisphere (3yo, Octagonal) in an OA.

[color=blue]Legendary Glory (3yo, Robin Hood) in a NW1, breaking his maiden.

[color=red]Cadbury (3yo, Highland Wizard) in a NW1, breaking her maiden.

[color=red]Glorious Romance (3yo, Gunningdownromance) in the Tranquil Star Stakes. This is her first stakes win. :slight_smile:

[color=blue]Make A Splash (3yo, Highland Laird) in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude. This is his first stakes win. :slight_smile:

PLACES:
[color=red]Dressed To Impress (3yo, No Duplicate) in a NW2.

[color=red]Magick Symbol (3yo, Cryptic Ballad) in an OA.

[color=red]Fool For You (3yo, Foolhardy) in a NW2.

[color=red]Integral (3yo, Magic Glory) in a NW1, behind Cadbury.

[color=red]Original Copy (3yo, No Duplicate) in the Sabin Handicap.

[color=blue]Epic Proportions (3yo, Giant’s Causeway) in the Moonee Valley Stakes.

FOURTHS:
[color=blue]Jumanji (3yo, Dark Continent) in a NW2.

[color=blue]Atlantic City (3yo, Foolhardy) in a NW2.

[color=blue]Damon Bradley (3yo, No Duplicate) in the Sham Stakes.

[color=blue]Rischioso (3yo, Worth My While) in the Moonee Valley Stakes.

We also claimed [color=blue]Deal Me Out (3yo, Count Me In), who won his claimer. :slight_smile: His big brother is unplaced but has only raced twice, and his dam was a stakes winner on the track. We have a soft spot for Count Me In, so we’re hoping this boy does well.

We have a win!

[color=red]Ch. Alchaasibiyeh finished 1st/7 in her open steeplechase. She’s really enjoying her time in Australia!

[color=red]On The Road Again was 5th/9 in her NW3. I’m beginning to think that breeding her might be more fun than racing.

[color=blue]Beautiful Romance was 9th/14 in his NW1.

Only 6 sent out today. No wins, but a couple of decent performances from potential Classic contenders:-

2 Seconds
[color=red]Back St. Flight, (3yo, Major’s Flight x Back Streets) 2/10 in the G3 Tranquil Star Stakes in Australia.
[color=blue]Magic Roundabout, (3yo, Magic Glory x What’s That About) 2/10 in the G3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude in Australia.
Both of these seem to prefer Turf so are unlikely to go for the American Classics. Probably the English and Irish Classics.

1 Third
[color=blue]G.Ch. First Born Son, (4yo, Ring of Fire x What’s That About) 3/14 in the G2 San Antonio Handicap at Santa Anita.
He will go back to the Farm for a rest then on to Dubai for the Dubai Sheema Classic.

Also Ran
[color=blue]Ch. Glorious Victory, (3yo, Magic Glory x Decisive Victory) 5/10 in the Ung Sham Stakes at Santa Anita.
[color=blue]Ch. Lohan, (4yo, My Lucky Day x Thinking of Dreams) 7/14 in the G2 San Antonio Handicap at Santa Anita.
[color=red]Flight of Silk, (3yo, Major’s Flight x Flaming Silk) 8/10 in the G2 Moonee Valley Stakes in Australia.

Pretty good day!

It started out with a bummer, as in her first steeplechase start [color=red]Allemain returned from her race with heat in her left hind leg.  She did still finish 4th though, so I’m hopeful she will perform decently in future starts.

[color=blue]Fighting the Blues won his third in a row in nice fashion. He’ll go out in a stakes next.

[color=red]Greylin was 4th in her allowance.  She might’ve needed the race off a layoff.

[color=red]Aman won her allowance as well for her first win.  It only took two years! :slight_smile:

5 of 11 hit the board.

[color=green]Armageddon debuted a winner at SC (Maiden, o/o 8). We picked him up for 3k thinking he could be a nice runner if managed differently and the change to SC looks like a good one!
[color=green]Macau ran 1st/6 in his claimer and stays home.

[color=blue]Field of Diamonds ran 2nd/6 in his NW3.
[color=red]Mountain Laurel was 2nd/6 in his OA.

[color=blue]Red Dog shortened up a little and managed 4th/13 in his OA. He’s definitely the sort who likes ridiculously long dirt races; 11f often isn’t enough for him.

Only one today and he did me proud!

[color=green]Evil Rumors ran in 5.0f Claiming ($5,000) for 4yo+ (D) and placed 1st/6, going unclaimed. Maybe he still has a few wins in him after all!

Actually had an ok day running five and coming home with 6, and everyone to some money for once!

[color=red]Cats lucky day in a 3yo OA mixed was 5th

[color=red]Societies best in a 16f 4+ f/m longest ever was 4th

[color=green]Highland Heath in a 3 yo claimed he stayed home was 2nd

[color=red]Ch. In Crowd  by rumour has it a 6 yo mare we claimed was 3rd

[color=red]Sea basque a short nw-1 for 4+ f/m she was 2 nd

[color=red]Raptor Romance 3f in the Sabin handicap ran 4th
the finish was all frontrunners separated by a nose!

FINALLY a good race day! It has been awhile  ::) Sent 4 out, all 4 on the board

Wins
[color=red]Firey Dancer (3yo All Jazzed Up) won her NW1 allowance, we claimed her a few weeks ago for $10,000! Her first win, all it took was an equipment change

[color=red]Al Summan (3yo, Seattle Sorcerer) won her NW2 allowance. Also her first win, pretty excited about that

[color=red]Solo Sunset (4yo, War Chant) won the San Antonio Handicap! Shocked about this one, yes she has been a good runner but there were some TOUGH horses in this field, I almost didn’t enter her

4ths
[color=blue]Alister (3yo, Octagonal) in a NW1 turf

Two out, two on the board, but nothing terribly impressive I’m afraid.

[color=blue]Zeromancer (Gunningdownromance x Executioner) went 3rd/6 in a $10k dirt claimer. He’s been put up for sale for $5000 to see if anyone else has better luck with him.

[color=red]Lady Amalthea (I’m Your Angel x One Last Time) ran 4th/14 in a 5f dirt NW3, her second career start. She managed similar results in her first outing, so I’m hoping she can move her way up into the top 3 soon.

I definitely just bought him for his name… :wink:

Haha, good a reason as any! Good luck with him. :smiley:
