12/8

Decent day. :slight_smile:

Wins:
[color=blue]Thin Client (2yo, Take Me Away) in his debut race, a NW3.

[color=blue]Jumanji (2yo, Dark Continent) in a NW3.

[color=red]Ring of Darkness (Ring of Fire) in an OA.

[color=blue]Freddie Mercury (2yo, King David) in a maiden.

Place:
[color=red]Morgan le Fay (Highland Wizard) in the Backstage Pass Breeders’ Stakes.

Shows:
[color=blue]Lovemeorleaveme (2yo, Alley Cat) in a NW3.

[color=red]Counting Coins (2yo, Count Me In) in a maiden.

Two highlights for me with only five starters.

Golden Aura won the second leg of the SC females Breeders Series (for Shanthi). Hopefully she can take the treble.

To Die For win his third Grade One of the year in the $1m Stradebroke Handicap. Kowhai bombed in this running in sixth after being near the front most of the race. She’s probably going to see the rest of the year out at the barn… Can’t really ask anything else of her!

My horses had a hard time today, running mostly without their first-joice jockeys, and still did very well. I’m proud!

[color=red]Cabernet finally broke her maiden - she was 1st/6 in a maiden for 3yo fillies. Her 7th race.

[color=red]On The Road Again finally won, in her 12th race, a starter allowance. I knew it!

2yo [color=blue]Sugarbird (by GCh. My Lucky Day) finished 2nd/10 in a NW2 allowance, after his recent win.

2yo [color=red]She’s Outlawed (by NCh. Robin Hood) finished 6th/10 in ungraded  East View Stakes. She’ll have a rest and then try something easier.

Only 2 of 7 hit the board. Really thinking two of my girls are done despite being only 3 years of age. One has only hit the board 6/15 times (no wins) this year after scoring nearly 500k at 2, and the other has managed 5/15 times on the board this year after multiple stakes wins/placings at 2. Thinking both already peaked.

[color=red]Irish Miss ran 3rd/6 in her NW3.
[color=red]Playdate (2yo, Rahy) managed a 4th/14 in a Maiden. Its her best placing since her debut in April.

11 runners sent out today.

2 Wins
[color=red]Major Dreams, (2yo, Major’s Flight x Sheza Dreamer) 1/7 in an NW2 at Calder. Her second win this year and she will be heading home for a rest.
[color=red]American Dance, (3yo, Almost Home x Northern Sister) 1/6 in an OA at Woodbine. Her third consecutive win.

2 Seconds
[color=red]Mirror Twin, (2yo, Harvard Bound x Backwards Image) 2/6 in an NW3 at Aqueduct. She will be heading home for a rest.
[color=blue]Ch. Rebel Brother, (4yo, Backseat Driver x Movie Mistress) 2/14 in an OA at Aqueduct.

3 Thirds
[color=blue]Secano, (2yo, Sneak Peek x In Due Time) 3/8 in an NW1 at Calder.
[color=blue]Star of Wonder, (2yo, Harvard Bound x Wonder’s Miracle) 3/6 in an NW3 at Aqueduct. He will be heading home for a rest.
[color=red]Ch. Giant’s Debate, (3yo, Giant’s Causeway x Time’s Debatable) 3/6 in an OA at Aqueduct.

Also Ran
[color=blue]Ch. Keyboard, (3yo, War Chant x Lady of Mystery) 5/10 in the G1 Stadbroke Handicap in Australia.
[color=red]Ch. White Sand Beach, (3yo, Almost Home x Dayatthebeach) 6/6 in an OA at Aqueduct.
[color=blue]Londesborough Boy, (3yo, Lasting Spirit x Painted Desert) 7/10 in the G1 Stadbroke Handicap in Australia.
[color=red]Exquisite, (4yo, Easy Goer x Hail to Beauty) 14/14 in an OA at Woodbine.

Sent 7 out, did great in the stakes, not so much in the rest! :confused:

Wins
[color=blue]Deep Blue Sea (4yo, I’m Your Angel) in a SC allowance… Yup, switched him to SC, he was only running OK on the flat and jump trials told me he loved jumping, hopefully he keeps this up!

[color=blue]Fruitloop (4yo Easy Goer) in the Highland Rogue Breeders’ Stakes, and to think, nobody wanted him when I put him in my auction a little while ago :wink:. This boys first stakes win, we will run him in the next BS race assuming his energy is ok

Shows
[color=red]Uncanny Yodel (4yo, Highland Bandit) in the Backstage Pass Breeders’ Stakes, very pleased with how she has been running. We plan to run her in the next BS race as well, assuming energy is good!

There rest of my ponies were honorable mentions, mostly 2yos

Meh.

[color=blue]Evil Rumors ran in 5.5f Allowance for 4yo+ (D) and placed 3rd/6.

[color=blue]GoToThe Devil ran in 8.0f Allowance for 3yo+ (SC) and placed 4th/14.

[color=green]Surak ran in 13.5f Allowance for 3yo+ (SC) and placed 10th/14.

Way late in posting…

Only got one entered thanks to a busy week, and it was a bit of a disappointment…

After being undefeated in her first 4 starts, [color=red]Sweet Home Alabama (2yo homebred, I’m A Classic) made her stakes debut, finishing a (very close) 5th in the ungraded East View Stakes.  Maybe next time.
