12/5

Nice day for us, especially now that we’re finally racing our babies (and they’re doing well, too!).

Wins:
[color=red]Crystal Romance (2yo, Gunningdownromance) in a NW2 against the boys.

[color=red]Clairvoyant (2yo, Holy Bull) in a NW3.

[color=red]Thats Not My Point (2yo, What’s Your Point) in an OA.

[color=red]Crimson and Silver (2yo, Highland Laird) in a maiden.

[color=red]Fire Magic (2yo, Highland Magic) in an OA.

Places:
[color=red]Queen’s Fool (Foolhardy) in the Rome Cup.

Shows:
[color=blue]Make A Splash (2yo, Highland Laird) in a NW3.

[color=blue]Sir Tristan (2yo, Gunningdownromance) in an OA.

[color=blue]Plague (2yo, High Chances) in a NW2.

Fourths:
[color=red]On Angel’s Wings (Slew O’Scots) in an OA.

[color=blue]Crown Wish (2yo, As You Wish) in an OA.

Two others were 5th, leaving only 1 entry out of the money.

Sent out 9 runners and, although only 1 didn’t bring home some money, most of them only managed minor placings (4th or 5th)

1 Winner
[color=red]Back St. Flight, (2yo, Major’s Flight x Back Streets) 1/6 in an OA at Woodbine. Broke her maiden with this win. Looking at her form, she was fated to win this. In her last 6 races, she had 2 4th’s followed by 2 3rds, followed by 2 2nds - LOL.

2 Seconds
[color=blue]Last For More, (2yo, Lasting Spirit x Back For More) 2/9 in an NW3 at Calder.
[color=blue]DoubleOrNothing, (5yo, A.P. Indy x By Honor Bound) 2/6 in an OA in Australia.

2 Fourths
[color=red]Magic Topaz, (2yo, Magic Glory x Topaz) 4/10 in an NW3 at Aqueduct.
[color=blue]Ch. Crystal Double, (4yo, Crystal Rainbow x Clear As Crystal) 4/14 in the G3 Queen’s Country Stakes at Aqueduct.

Also Ran
[color=blue]GCh. AndLikeThatHesGone, (4yo, Major’s Flight x Risky Venture) 5/14 in an OA at Aqueduct.
[color=blue]Ch. Prestige, (4yo, Cross Roads x Magician’s Mystery) 5/14 in the G3 Queen’s Country Stakes at Aqueduct.
[color=blue]Ch. Liberty Creek, (4yo, Omaha x Skip the Secrets) 5/10 in the G2 P.J. O’Shea Stakes in Australia.
[color=blue]Contristo (Leased), (3yo, Stressed x Las Vegas Jitters) 7/10 in the G1 Queensland Derby in Australia.

Pretty good day! Even while dealing with the rain in Aqueduct.

[color=blue]Bold Dreams ran in 5.0f NW3 Allowance for 4yo+ (T) and placed 1st/6. His first win with me!

[color=blue]Ch. Alfresco ran in 6.5f Allowance for 2yo (D) and placed 2nd/6. He needed a break from all the stakes pressure.

[color=green]Fortunate Son ran in 5.0f Allowance for 4yo+ (T) and placed 2nd/6. He certainly has ups and downs.

[color=blue]Gallant Affair ran in 11.5f Allowance for 4yo+ (D) and placed 4th/7.

[color=red]Cathedral ran in 8.5f Gr. 3 Queen’s Country Stakes for 3yo+ (D) and placed 8th/14. I’m not disappointed because she made a valiant effort against the boys, even if she was only mid pack.

In a bizarre change of events, only the 2yo’s hit the board.

[color=blue]Kindred Romance (2yo, Gunningdownromance) ran 1st/6 in his NW2.
[color=blue]Perfect Gentleman (2yo, Worth My While) was 2nd/14 in his maiden.
[color=red]Temple Maid (2yo, Worth My While) was 2nd/10 in her NW3.

And four others who ran 5th or worse.

Good day for us, especially for running babies!

Wins
[color=blue]Criminal Secret (2yo, FFCh. High Chances) in a dirt allowance. Thats 2 wins in a row now, time for a stakes?
[color=red]Rose Of Portland (3yo, Moonopoly) in a NW3 SC allowance. Very pleased with this filly, she is coming around as a jumper
[color=red]Trippi Bree (4yo, Crystal Rainbow) in a SC allowance. This is her 4th win in a row, i’m waiting for a stakes race for this filly!
[color=blue]Cinnabar (3yo, Whats Your Point) in a starter allowance. We tried some different equipment, he liked it

Places
[color=blue]Rasputan (2yo, Devil His Due) in a NW2 allowance, his best placing so far. He must like the equipment we tried on him
[color=red]Red Fox (4yo, Gallant Fox) in a SC allowance behind stablemate Trippi Bree.

Quite unexpected results.

[color=red]Lacune finished 1st/6 in her open steeplechase sprint, and she was the last one I would expect to win today. She isn’t bred for sprint, but rather for longer distance. But the speed figure was nice, she won comfortably and I’m glad that she’s so versatile.

[color=blue]Ch. Al Mundhir finished 2nd/6 in a starter allowance, which was supposed to be easy for him. Maybe he was distracted by the winning filly Rose Will Do and preferred to run behind her? Anyway, I would expect a little bit more from a multiple stakes winner.

[color=red]Gentle Charlotte finished 5th/6 in open allowance for 2yo fillies. She won only once and didn’t race much at all, so probably it’s a matter of experience.

Blah sent out 3 one hit the board. My poor mare still just 2 pts from grand. :frowning:
