12/3

5 out today, not a bad day

Nobleton (Point Given) ran 3rd in a 2yo turf allowance

Angelius (I’m Your Angel) also ran 3rd in a 2yo dirt allowance. I tried him with different equipment, he didn’t hate it

Fruitloop ran a disappointing 6th, I tried him on a longer SC, clearly he didn’t like it so we’ll go back to the short SC runs

Trippi Bree ran 4th in her allowance. She’s been a bit unpredictable… May try her on SC next season as she likes the longer races

Ace of Hearts was the highlight of the day winning the Queen’s Country Stakes! He has run 3rd in the last 3 stakes races he has been in so i’m super happy to see him move up the pack

Not very impressive. Especially the mares that are going to breeding shed could have tried some more.

[color=red]Shadow In The Dark - 1st/12 in 9 furlongs NW3 Allowance for 2yo F on dirt and she also has two wins on turf, which makes us happy that we claimed another Boldness Shows daughter recently.
[color=red]Wedding Reception - 2nd/6 in 7 furlongs NW3 Allowance for 3yo and she will be bred to some steeplechaser but first has to race much more.
[color=red]Major Secret - 5th/14 in 11.5 furlongs Allowance for 3yo+ (KindleHope Farms).
[color=red]Ch. Private Party - 6th/12 in 8.5 furlongs Queen’s Country Stakes for 3yo+. The Champions are being lazy recently at Clicker Lab.
[color=red]Ch. Charlotte - 6th/12 in 12 furlongs Allowance for 3yo+, which we’re considering a training before the Evening Flame Breeders’ Stakes and now we’re rushing to enter the race which is getting crowded quickly. Let’s hope that there will be a place for Love Signal.
[color=red]Ch. Summer Morning - 7th/14 in 11.5 furlongs Allowance for 3yo+, steeplechase on wet track.
[color=red]Kew Garden - 7th/9 in 7.5 furlongs Allowance for 2yo F, but it’s her first open allowance and her highest speed figure ever. She should mature later.
[color=red]Golden Moon - 8th/13 in 9.5 furlongs Allowance for 3yo+ F/M. And I just saw that I somehow overlooked her in my breeding plans so we’re going to find a nice stallion :slight_smile: she has a speed record on turf from last year!

Sent out 10 and 5 hit the board, so I guess not bad.

[color=red]Anne Boleyn - 1st/6 in a NW1. Might try her at stakes next time.
[color=red]On Dove’s Wings - 2nd/12 in a NW3. She’s getting better with age.
[color=red]As You See - 2nd/7 in an OA.
[color=green]To Alaska - 2nd/7 in an OA.
[color=red]Sheza Swan - 2nd/6 in a NW2.

Sent out 7 today and only two bombed, one a surprise I expected better of her and the one I threw in for the heck of it left her in the dust and placed!

[color=blue]Generous One-13.5f NW3 Allow, 3yo,SC - Good, [color=blue]3rd ran in 1st until 10f then fell back, I know his limit now.
[color=red]High Wire Dancing-9.5f Allow,3yo+ F,Turf - Good, [color=red]10th no clue here
[color=blue]Lionheart-(prince of wonder)6.5f Allow,2yo,Dirt - Good, [color=blue]3rd likes to make it a nail biter
[color=red]Heard A Rumor-11.5f Allow,4yo+,Dirt - Good, [color=red]4th fell in behind the 3 geldings and stayed there.

Good day here.

Apparently Bold Talker wanted to be a steeplechaser! Switched him to fences today and he came home a winner in a NW3. 1st/6.

Dos Equis tried the turf for the first time today and apparently took a liking to it, broke his maiden today. 1st/6.

Unbridled Miracle put in a good showing in a Turf OA for 3yo Fillies, finishing 2nd/6.

Watagan Wildcat got back to back wins today with a score in a Turf OA for Fillies, 1st/6.

very good day for Darkwood. We sent out five and won with four of them!
[color=red]Beyond Time chalked up her fifth win out of nine runs over fences in her 11.5f allowance at Aqueduct
[color=green]Storm Song flew home in his 5f NW3 at Woodbine, winning by several lengths. He has only run 7 times this year as it has been quite difficult to find the right races for him.
[color=red]Sunday Star really stormed home in her 13f NW3 'chase. She has been quite a difficult mare to work out and has never run as well as I had hoped. She seems to be a bit more consistent over fences and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth running her as a 5yo…
But the best and most amazing win of the day was [color=red]Moonshine who took the honours in the 5f NW1 at Aqueduct. Not a particularly significant race in itself but Moonshine broke her RH leg in January this year! It was a clean break and was dealt with very quickly. Luckily Moon is a very calm and gentle filly and put up with the long box rest very well. she recovered so well that by September it was almost impossible to tell she had had such a severe injury. We decided to let her take her chances in this race to see if we should keep her in training next year or retire her to broodmare. her jockey was sent out with no whip and orders not to push her if she wasn’t going properly but to the amazement of all the stable she managed to get her nose in front where it mattered  :slight_smile:. she seems fine if a little tired and will be kept in training for at least the first part of next year.

Had a fairly good day yesterday.

[color=red]Edge of Night won her NW2. Her last couple of races were not spectacular, so seeing that she could still give a good run was nice.
[color=green]Oh Nine was 2nd in his NW3.
[color=blue]RunRabbitRun was 5th out of a larger field in his NW3, with his stablemate [color=green]Coup De Grace following right behind him in 6th. Hopefully these two will give a better show next time they’re out.

Gwen:
Holy smokes! Congrats on your fillies win. It’s so awesome to see horses recover from those types of injuries.  Real inspiration. :slight_smile:
