Sent 10 horses out today, mixed results. 6 were in the money
Eloquently (Strider) ran 2nd in a 2yo allowance. She has been nice and consistent, likes running 2nd.
Anglesite (I’m Your Angel) made me proud winning her 2yo allowance. This is her second win in a row, hopefully she keeps up this momentum.
Rose of Portland (Moonopoly) ran 9th in a 2yo maiden. Only her 4th start, still working out the kinks
Approved Rumor (Rumor Has It) ran 9th in a 2yo maiden. He is coming off a bowed tendon during training, may send him home for more rest. This was only his second start.
Lumberjack (I’m Your Angel) suprised me running 7th in a 2yo allowance. He must not have liked the shorter distance…
Angelius (I’m Your Angel) ran last in the Damon Runyon Stakes. I guess I just threw him in the stakes pool too quickly, he wasnt ready.
Uncanny Yodel ran 3rd in an allowance SC.
Outer Bounds won a turf allowance. He was a recent purchase off of Ivy Creek, this was only his secoond start (1st start this year) so i’m very pleased with his win
Ace of Hearts made me proud running 2nd in the Gallant Fox against some tough ponies. He has shaped into quite the nice little stakes runner.
Carat was a recent purchase from Cirque Du Soleil ran 5th in the Gallant Fox stakes. I am happy with that, she likely would have run better if it were a few furlongs longer.
Not worth time To post, I have to go into the city for Internet.
Basically sent 9 -1/1/1/3
My Nightfight filly was in mixed company and couldn’t get around the boys, altho her sibling that’s constantly her rival did well.
Another good 2yo ended up 10th no reason why she did so bad, and a 6th out of another. Hopefully the next couple go well as I’m not sure when I’ll be able to enter again until the 29th .
In the Damon Runyon Stakes Nightfights, Kentuck Wildcat (just sold in the CDS auction, congrats Marshall Creek), Night Of Storms, and my own Black Heartbreak went 1, 2, 3!
This brought Nightfight to a 11.1 gold ranking with over 350K average earnings, 11 stake winners (48%), and 8 MSW (35%).
Well done Nightfight babies. I noticed Sponsored isn’t far off being stud qualified already - it will be very interesting to see how they get on next year.
Slightly disappointing, but at least I got a tiny paycheck.
[color=blue]Gallant Affair took 5th/6 in 9.5f Maiden for 3yo (Turf). He loves finishing in the 4-6th range. I hope he gets tired of that soon. At least he’s consistent.
