We also claimed a promising 2yo filly [color=red]Jorghinia, daughter of bronze ranked Indy’s Liquer (by A.P. Indy), and NCh. Boldness Shows who is the sire of our very succesful 2yo filly Shadow In The Dark, also recently claimed. Jorghinia should be a good sprinter on dirt.
After showing lots of consistincy in OA’s we decided to give Beautiful Disaster a shot again at stakes company and he put in a very good showing today to finish 3rd/14 in the G1 Cigar Mile.
Cassandra put in a very good effort in the G3 Demand to Know Breeder’s Stakes, finishing 3rd/6.

Heart Thunder got back into form today, winning a steeplechase OA for fillies and mares. 1st/7.
Succubus finished a nice 2nd/14 in a turf OA for fillies and mares.

Turcanna woke up today. He’d been putting in some dismal efforts and not training well, but recently his training improved and we saw the results today with a win in a Turf OA. 1st/14.
[color=red]Fake Number (Nightfight) broke her maiden today. Yay for this pretty girl.

***Nightfight is now to a very high 10.5 gold 2yo sire rating. We are still milling over possibilities for next breeding season so please let us know if your are considering him for next breeding season so we may plan for our own broodmare band. Trades will be considered.
[color=red]Suppressive broke her maiden (woot!) and [color=red]Go For Broke fought her for it in their distance NW1.
I think we’ll give [color=red]Spectacular Love a shot at SC, and hope that we didn’t miss our chance. She’s been lightly raced this year, but I can’t quite tell if she’s bored or just ready for retirement. She loped along for place by a nose to the boys in her 13f NW3.
[color=red]Sardonyx, [color=blue]Set on Fire, [color=red]Symmetrical, [color=blue]The Fire Bringer and [color=blue]Tornado Alley are my random assortment of 2 y/os and 3 y/os that finished off the board this time. Maybe I’ll bait them with more carrots, next time.
[color=blue]Peak of Perfection (No Duplicate) held off a really impressive field to win the GI Japan Cup and brought home a nice paycheck. I’d been planning this move for a while after his performance in the GI Turf Classic Invitational, but was a bit worried he was past his prime after a few finishes off the board. The plan is to sit back and enjoy this one, and see where he goes, possibly SC in the spring. I’m hoping and praying he’s thinking studly thoughts in a year or two.
