Holy crap, things are looking up! Sent out 10 for a 2-5-1-0 return.
[color=blue]Red Dog showed his old form with a 1st/8 finish in his OA.
[color=blue]Nindalf (2yo) won his Maiden against a full field.
[color=green]Vuela Vuela was 2nd/14 in his NW1. Looks like he wants distance!
[color=red]Ordinarily Yours was 2nd/13 in her OA.
[color=blue]Rocket Smoke ran 2nd/6 in his OA.
[color=blue]A Knight’s Tale was 2nd/8 in the same OA as Red Dog.
[color=green]Legal Strategy ran 2nd/14 in an OA.
[color=blue]Field of Diamonds was 3rd/12 in his NW3. This guy is driving me nuts. On one hand, he’s consistent (has hit the board 13/20 times this year) but he has only 1 win to his name. Period. Maybe at 4!
Also-rans:[color=red] Belfast Belle (11th/13, OA) and [color=red]Magic Lable (7th/14, OA).
First, I was so happy that 4yo [color=red]GCh. The Woman In Blackwon her 7 furlongs Allowance Steeplechase, in the full field of 14 horses! She was 7th in her last two races and I was getting worried if she’s over the hill. But looks like she still has some powers and her racing talent is not limited to flat races on dirt! She left the other fillies far behind her.
Then, [color=red]Ellejolet & [color=red]Cabernet combo finished 1st and 2nd. It’s second win for Ellejolet and Cabernet remains maiden. The difference between them was only a neck, and they left all the rest 8 3/4 lengths behind them. I probably need to stop racing them together, to let Cabernet win something finally.
Then 2yo colt [color=blue]Sugarbird made us proud, with his second win in a row. Previous race was a maiden and this was NW2. He’s by GCh. My Lucky Day (S).
And the only exception was 2yo colt [color=blue]Garito, by Tiznow who finished 5th in his claimer. He remains unplaced.
[color=red]She’s Gawne ran in 7.5f NW1 Allowance for 3yo F (SC) and placed 1st/6! She’s on fire lately! Nothing under second for the past five races!
[color=blue]Acapulco Gold ran in 8.5f NW3 Allowance for 3yo+ (D) and placed 10th/12. When I first bought him, he ran really well. I guess he just doesn’t have it anymore. It’s weird that he seems to have already topped off at 3.
Sent out 6 and 5 came home with a check. A mare I was thinking about retiring has had a few weeks off and come back to win her race. She’s only 16 pts from grand champion now.
Win
[color=red]Mi Amore create,4yo, handily won her 13.5 SC, OA , by 2 1/4 lengths! She might. Have a few more races in her after all!
The rest were all 4ths
[color=blue]Thru Traffic (giants causeway) in an Nw-2 for 2yos
[color=red]Sheza Firework (chivalry) in an Nw-3 for 2/f
[color=red]Mai Tai Princess in a 7f,4+ f/m OA, leaving stablemate Journeys end to finish 8th
[color=blue]Pride of Hollywood in a 7.5 OA for 3yo
[color=blue]Fighting the Blues was the only one I sent out that was even in the money, winning his NW3 allowance in a closely-run race. He’ll probably race once more this year before being sent home for a short break.
