10/3

Happy October everyone!

[color=blue]Bold Dreams ran in 5.0f NW2 Allowance for 4yo+ (T) and placed 2nd/6.

I bought [color=green]Ch. Flight Line because he is the other horse out of one of my deceased mares, Light A Line. Now I have both of her children. He ran in 7.5f NW2 Allowance for 3yo+ (SC) and placed 4th/10.

[color=green]All Is Holy ran in 13.5f Allowance for 3yo+ (T) and placed 10th/11. I might have to give up because he just seems to be over his prime. What a waste of talent.  :frowning:

9 Runners sent out today.

2 Winners
[color=blue]Shiloh’s Hill, (3yo, Worth the Wait x Whistlin’ Dixie) 1/6 in an NW3 at Woodbine. He will be aimed for the Canadian International at Woodbine for his next start.
[color=blue]NCh. Lucky Streak, (4yo, Rahy x Wild Streak) 1/10 in the G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in France. His 3rd G1W this year. After a poor performance a month ago, he was given a rest at a boarding farm, which seems to have brought him back to form. He will be given another short rest, this time, back at the Farm, then will be headed to Belmont for the Breeder’s Cup.

2 Seconds
[color=red]Flight of Silk, (2yo, Major’s Flight x Flaming Silk) 2/10 in an NW3 at Woodbine.
[color=red]Major Dreams, (2yo, Major’s Flight x Sheza Dreamer) 2/6 in an NW3 at Calder.

1 Third
[color=red]Ch. Hi Honey, (3yo, Foolhardy x Cherokee Accent) 3/6 in the G2 Western Australia Oaks in Australia. She will be shipped to the Farm for a short rest then will be headed to Belmont for the Breeder’s Cup.

Also Rans
[color=red]Ch. Dark Topaz, (3yo, Dark Continent x Topaz) 6/10 in an OA at Belmont. She has been running on Turf recently, however, two of her three best performances have been on Dirt.
[color=red]Lupe Valez, (3yo, Point Given x Lucky Lucky Lady) 7/14 in the G1 Beldame Stakes at Belmont.
[color=red]Princess Kaiulani, (4yo, Worth the Wait x Whistlin’ Dixie) 10/14 in the G1 Beldame Stakes at Belmont. I don’t know why how she came to be entered in a Dirt race when she has been running on Turf races all year with very good results. I must have been asleep when I entered her for this race.
She, [color=red]Lupe Valez and [color=red]Dark Topaz will all be Boarded at Belmont for a couple of weeks before being entered in the Breeder’s Cup, subject to their being ranked high enough.
[color=blue]Lucky Sunset, (5yo, Red Sunset x Lucky Lucky Lady) 5/10 in the G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in France, behind stable companion [color=blue]NCh. Lucky Streak. He will be shipped to Belmont, where he too will be Boarded for a couple of weeks before being entered in the Breeder’s Cup.

Sent out 6 and only 3 managed to bring home some money. Not as bad as last Saturday when we sent out 6 and the best we did was a single 4th, though.

[color=blue]Jade River ran 2nd/6 in a NW3.
[color=green]Personable Joe was 3rd/8 in an OA.
[color=blue]Candied Roses (2yo, What’s Your Point) managed 4th/11 in a NW3.

Some kids were sent home.

A great day for our 2yo’s and two of our stallions today.

Nightfight foals swept the third leg of the 2yo triple with the colt, [color=blue]Nightwatchman, winning the Champagne Stakes and the filly, [color=red]Deep Of The Night, winning the Frizette Stakes (NF filly [color=red]SecretOfTheNight finished 2nd. She is owned by Oakwood).

Also, 3yo filly [color=red]Fightin’ The Smoke, came off a decent rest to finish 2nd in the Beldame Stakes.

As You Wish colt, [color=blue]Hopes Wish, came off his rest to win the 2.5M Golden Slipper Stakes.

We are just so pleased to have our 2yo’s doing well since that has been a goal of ours for a long while.  :slight_smile:

[color=red]Your Chant won the claimer we entered her in, and she got claimed by Three Crosses Racing. Good luck with her! I have three broods now in foal to War Chant (Your Chant’s sire) so we won’t regret this line.

[color=red]Embellished finished 3rd/5 in her NW3. Not sure why.
[color=red]
Jorghinia finished 3rd/12 in a steeplechase sprint. Her stablemate (by the same sire, NCh. Boldness Shows) [color=red]Ch. Shadow In The Dark ran a steeplechase for the first time, and she finished 6th.

Finally our ponies have decided that they really can run again, after a few weeks of non-performance.

Wins:
[color=red]Morgan le Fay (Highland Wizard) in an OA.

[color=red]Cameo Way (2yo, Stressed) in a maiden (her first start for us).

Place:
[color=blue]Crown Wish (2yo, As You Wish) in a NW2.

Show:
[color=red]Cadbury (2yo, Highland Wizard) in a NW1.

Fourth:
[color=blue]Count Rugen (As You Wish) in the Tulloch Stakes.

Well sent out 10 today and pretty happy with the results, no high stakes races but a little extra money goes a long way right now  ::)

First:
[color=red]Akubra NW3 race
Handy little runner that I’m proud of just because she’s one of my two initial creates. Maybe some equipment will help her become competitive in graded races

[color=blue]Oh So Famous Maiden
On lease from Diamond Dale Farm and broke his maiden, now to get money out of him before he goes home!

[color=green]Take A Punt OA
Still running strong as a 5yr old and hopefully he can keep this up past 6!

Second:
[color=red]Kingston Coup OA

[color=blue]Crafty Magic NW1
Another on lease and still no wins for this boy but I think he has more potential yet as a late bloomer

[color=green]America Forever OA
Ran on low fitness so hopefully he will see higher classes

Third:
[color=green]KratosNW3
My other original create I haven’t figured out yet, I think I am letting him down with equips

Also rans
[color=red]Lady MorgaineNW2
5th/10 Another on lease that I think needs some equips changes
[color=red]Bonita MontanaNW1
12th/13 Wasn’t expecting much but she grew a little so i thought i’d see. Think she will become competitive late on in life
[color=green]St Elmo’s FireNW2
Poor boy straggled home 10th/10 I purchased him because he was ultra cheap, hopefully he is one of those that bounces back at 4yrs old, just gonna have to wait and see

First, I’m glad to see Oh So Famous end up in an active race home, if only temporarily.  Congrats on the win!

I’m behind in posting this, but I’m no less excited with the results:

3YO [color=red]Always Ladylike (Giant’s Causeway) became a stakes winner today, winning the G2 Western Australia Oaks after we shipped her down under on a whim.  This is especially meaningful because she was purchased in utero, with intentions of breeding her mom for several more foals…but her dam had to be retired after her difficult birth.  She’s the only ‘heiress’ we have.

3YO [color=blue]Dawson’s Rudge (A.P. Indy) won his NW2 - his second win in a row, having broken his maiden last time out.  We might have figured this guy out!

After being a dud all year, 4YO [color=green]Irish Muldoon (Danzig) got the ol’ snip-snip…then immediately turned around and WON with a speed factor of 288, earning a speed record.  D’oh!  Did I mention his dam is a former HOTY?  But playing hard to get until 4, and only doing so on long distance SC does not a stallion-candidate make…

3YO homebred [color=red]Lovespell (Magic Cross) won her second race in a row - this time a NW3 - after breaking her maiden last time out.  It seems we’ve figured her out, too, finally!

2YO [color=blue]Natomas (Harvard Bound) won his NW3, breaking his maiden.  He beat stablemate, homebred [color=blue]Zadar (What’s Your Point), who ran second behind him.

2YO homebred [color=red]Singsong (Rahy) continues to never be out of the money in 9 starts now.  She won her NW1.

3YO [color=blue]Starseeker (Starz ‘n’ Stripes) broke his maiden today, too - finally!

2YO homebred [color=red]Sweet Home Alabama (I’m A Classic) remains undefeated in her third start.  I definitely need to find a stakes race for this lady!

5YO [color=red]Ch. Twirlaway (Whirlaway) won her open allowance.

2YO homebred [color=red]Ch. Coquette (Bellagio) ran second in her open allowance against colts.  I’m happy with that.

2YO [color=blue]Ch. Ducati (Magic Cross) finished second in the G1 Champagne Stakes, but his NE is super low, and he only got a few days at the farm before I realized he was nominated for this race - he gave it a good go, but is now back at the farm to rest up before the Breeder’s Cup.

3YO leased filly, [color=red]Never Doubt (No Duplicate), ran second in her NW2.  She’s still a maiden, but at least she’s consistantly in the money…

And our “worst” finish of the day was a hard-earned 4th place finish from 3YO [color=red]Ciao Bella (Alley Cat) in the G1 Beldame Stakes.  She faced some really classy fillies, so I’m more than happy to see her fare as well as she did.  She has only just begun to blossom, and I expect we’ll see a lot more from this gal soon.  She’s from the same HOTY mare as Irish Muldoon.

:slight_smile: Thanks I hope he runs as good as his siblings haha I will be sad to see him leave
