Same here - my horses keep being disappointing recently. Today,[color=red] Embellished finished 4th/8 in her NW3. At least she wasn’t far from the winner, but she used to run faster.
Sent out 16 and only 4 saw a check and 2 were just 5th place! About ready to cut something off someone’s!

[color=blue]Ch. Prestige, (4yo, Cross Roads x Magician’s Mystery) 1/14 in the G3 Sport Page Stakes at Belmont. An expensive purchase earlier this year but has definitely paid back his purchase price. Decided to run him here instead of in the Breeders’ Cup and am beginning to wonder if that might have been a mistake. Oh well, we’ll have enough runners in the BC without him.

My horses ran tired today. I forgot to check how long it’s been since a couple of them were home.
[color=red]Delightful Queen ran in 11.5f NW3 Allowance for 3yo+ (D) and placed 1st/6. She’s so incredibly talented!
[color=red]Hello Goodbye ran in 10.5f Allowance for 4yo+ (SC) and placed 5th/7. After the stakes win and the stakes place for her last two races, this is slightly disappointing.
[color=blue]Evil Rumors ran in 7.0f Gr. 3 Sport Page Stakes for 3yo+ (D) and placed 7th/14. So successful in allowances, such a flop in stakes. 
[color=red]La Femme Nikita ran in 9.0f Starter Allowance for 3yo+ (D) and placed 8th/10. A recent purchase. She needs to get on my fitness routine, but first she needs a little rest.
[color=green]Surak ran in 12.5f Allowance for 4yo+ (SC) and placed 12th/14. Really inconsistent for a 5yo.

[color=red]Belle Esprit came 1st/6 in a NW3, just bought this mare and it makes her 1 for 1 this year, so pretty pleased
[color=green]Dragon Spirit came 1st/6 in an OA over 11f, he seems pretty picky about staying on more classic distances
[color=green]No Alibis came 1st/6 in a NW2, still figuring this boy out
[color=green]Ch. Grecian Devil was 2nd/7 in an OA, beaten convincingly by a nice stakes mare from Kindlehope, he’s 4 this year but I think he has a lot of time left
[color=blue]Oh So Famous was 3rd/6 in a NW3 only his second race this year, still tweaking him
[color=green]Kratos came 4th/7 in an OA, it was 8f but I think longer suits him better
[color=green]Fantasy Love and [color=green]Dublin ran in the same race and came 6th and 14th respectively. These are new boys to my stable, I don’t they took to SC too well either but hopefully rest and equips will see them become competitive allowance ponies.
[color=blue]Cortado is a colt by NCh. Gimme A Shot that came 1st/7 in a 15k claimer and came here to Fox Run. Not only did he win by 4 lengths he seemed to have gone out with only D or F fitness. Pretty Happy

2YO homebred [color=red]Alakazam (Highland Magic) was a dismal 11th. I can’t figure out how to motivate her…
