out of the half that raced only 2. Of 5 came in with any money.Hope when finished maybe more will add to it, weird though their energy/fitness looks like they did something . Lol Maybe they raced around by themselves during the night. Bad ponies! Lol
only posting the money earners for now.
[color=green]Sunday Glory-6.5f NW3 Allow,3yo,Dirt - Fast, [color=green]1st done so well since gelding I even missed that he set a speed record on the 1st of October,
2015/10/01, race #38-9.9 furlongs,Dirt,2:27.255
[color=red]Magic Carpet Ride-9.0f Allow,3yo F,Turf - Good, [color=red]3rd she has been doing better as she gets older I think she’s going to be an older racing mare than some others.
Not sure about the rest of my horses on my budget it shows the additional ones below but on two pages it shows dif results so no clue but here’s what it said.
2015-10-19- Race 24 - [color=red]Intimate Dancer (5th)
2015-10-19- Race 25 - [color=red]On The Catwalk (3rd)
What a day! A lot of good race results and also some successful but expensive horse-shopping
[color=red]Belleau Wood - 1st in 8 furlongs Starter Allowance for 3yo, that’s her second win ever. [color=red]Classical Hightail - 2nd in 6.5 furlongs NW3 Allowance for 3yo. She seems to benefit from shorter distance. [color=red]Ch. Private Party - 2nd in 5 furlongs Starter Allowance for 3yo+. [color=red]My Madelline - 3rd in 6.5 furlongs NW2 Allowance for 4yo+, right after being also 3rd in 14.5 furlongs race. [color=red]Noridana - 5th/13 in Maid of the Mist Stakes for 2yo F. [color=blue]Opinionator - 8th/14 in Sleepy Hollow Stakes for 2yo. [color=red]Pussycat Doll - 13th/14 in 7.5 furlongs Allowance for 4yo+ F/M. She’s definetely done with racing… that’s too bad, because she didn’t race much in her lifetime. We will breed her next year to NCh. Slew O’Scots or GCh. Starzen. Haven’t decided which one yet, but probably the first.
We also claimed a gorgeous 2yo filly [color=red]Shadow In The Dark (by NCh. Boldness Shows, out of bronze ranked Simpletwistoffate). And we also purchased three broodmares at the Snowbird International Auction, so I hope that Clicker Lab will not go bankrupt at the end of the year
Not only do we feel we had a great day today the highlight was that it was a great day for rookie stud Nightfight as well! The double highlight included fillies, Fightin’ The Smoke and Blackheart Break winning the Sleepy Hollow and Maid Of The Mist stakes. First stakes wins for both fillies and this brought Nightfight to a 9.0 gold rank. Stay tuned for bookings to him next year because we may limit them to make room for some in house mares.
I haven’t been posting in here because I’ve been too embarrassed at my results for the past year or so, but today I feel like announcing my failures.
The horse I forgave was [color=blue]Acapulco Gold, who has been my only source of a paycheck the past few months. He’s been doing consistently well and is the biggest prospect in my stable at the moment. I tried him in 8.0f Ungr. Stakes for 2yo, but he apparently wasn’t ready for the pressure, placing 11th out of 14.
The mare I wish I could change back to flat is [color=red]Alimony. One of her previous owners changed her to steeplechasing, and she hasn’t won a single race since. I tried 8.0f NW3 Allowance for 3yo+ (Steeplechase), which she placed 4th out of 8 in. Not that bad, really.
My first born, [color=red]Cathedral, makes me sad. She was my first foal ever on FF and I was really excited about her. Her record isn’t awful, but sure isn’t consistent either. She ran in a 8.5f Allowance for 3yo+ and placed 7th out of 14. I would sell her, except she means a lot to me because she was my first little one. Oh well, I’ll just have to love her unconditionally.
Lastly, I ran [color=blue]Virginia Challenge, who was a hopeful buy for me a while ago. He was the last foal of his mother and is a beautiful blue roan. Right now, he doesn’t run nearly as well as he is pretty. I tried a 7.0f NW2 Allowance for 2yo for him, though he hasn’t broken his maiden… his best place ever is 7th… In this race he placed 13th out of 14. I’m going to attribute his total lack of talent to immaturity and hope he turns things around next year.
Well, that’s it. What a basket of talent I have at my barn! The sad thing is, I don’t have the heart to get rid of any of them, so they’ll just continue to drain my funds.
